Our core business - the one on which we have built our reputation for delivering pre-print material of the highest quality in the tightest of timescale's. All this is due to the vast amount of knowledge we have about the software we use. Our ability to use the correct software efficiently allows us to give a speedy service to our clients. Our software knowledge also allows us to offer training to clients who feel they want to get more from the software they have. All training is based around the trade and is designed to help you be more in tune with the print and design business.

Scanning

Unrivalled experience, to deliver the right colour match and nuances of shade and tone to enhance the original image.

It all sounds so simple, but the ability to produce a high quality scan means you need to know what a high quality scans criteria is.

We have several scanners including A3 drum scanning, A4 drum scanning, transparency scanners and flatbed scanners.

Drum scanning for high resolution, print ready scans.

Transparency scanning, allowing you to scan all those holiday slides onto CD.

Flat bed scanning for those copies that cant be bent around the drum.

We know the criteria required by printers and designers for scans, years of experience means you get the right scan for the job. Feel free to ask our advice.

Scans take time to do correctly and thus cost money.

A mini scan is from £8.50 each

An A5 scan is from £12.50 each

An A4 scan is from £15.00 each

Proofing

We offer many different methods of proofing for many different products.

We offer digital proofing in the fashion of Agfa Sherpa Proofs. Their quality is excellent and we have many clients who are very happy with them as a form of accurate colour proof.

A typical A4 digital proof will cost £7.50+VAT
A typical A4 analogue proof will cost £59+VAT (Inc films)
A typical 8inch x 8inch ceramic proof will cost £65+VAT (Ask for more details)

Films

Here at Dayfield we have been producing films for the past 20 years.

We have several setters
including Linotype, Agfa and Scitex and produce films for all types
of print and print finishing.

Our prices are based on an A4 film costing £7 +VAT

An A4 2 colour is £14 + VAT
An A3 in 2 colour is £28 + VAT

The prices simply double up to what you require.

We take work on disc, data sticks or over our ftp.
